Telefonica launches 100% Mobile from Player X Distribution

Leading Spanish operator Telefónica has become the second global Tier One operator to launch Player X Distribution’s 100% Mobile integrated portal and storefront solution.

Under the terms of the deal, Player X Distribution will manage a dedicated shop on emoción where Telefónica subscribers can choose a range of mobile games from global publishers including Namco and from a selection of local Spanish publishers such as Movilenio and Iteration Mobile.

The launch of 100% Mobile on Telefónica follows last year’s successful launch of 100% Mobile on o2 UK where customers are given a feature-rich environment in which to discover the best games. The portal includes features such as Try Before You Buy and innovative pricing models such as rental and pay per play.

Player X Distribution plans to continue it expansion into storefront and portal management across Europe and further stores will be launched in Q2 2009.
